Overview
Sappy is a travel company organizing Hudson Valley getaways for sapphic women. The founder needed a brand identity that could hold two things at once: the warmth and texture of an upstate escape, and an energy that would immediately signal to the right audience that this trip is for them.
I was brought on to build a full visual identity including logo, stamp marks and design assets, color system, and type suite. The direction we landed on is elevated outdoorsy: grounded, natural, a little rugged, with a queer confidence underneath that doesn't need to announce itself.
